MapleJet Redefines Industrial Coding at Pack Expo with Advanced TIJ and CTIJ Technologies

Pack Expo 2025 was a major success for MapleJet, marking an important milestone in our mission to transform the future of industrial coding and marking. Partnering with Brady, MapleJet showcased its complete range of Thermal Inkjet (TIJ) and Continuous Thermal Inkjet (CTIJ) printers — introducing visitors to a new era of precision, connectivity, and performance in product coding.

Expanding Possibilities with the Advanced Hx TIJ Range

The exhibition featured our industry-proven Hx Nitro and Hx Nitro 25w printers — reliable TIJ solutions for high-resolution, maintenance-free printing on both porous non porous materials such as films, glass, PET, cartons, kraft papers, and cardboard boxes.

  • The Hx Nitro remains a preferred choice for small to medium production lines, offering crisp text, barcodes, and logos using water-based inks.
  • The Hx Nitro 25w, on the other hand, offers a larger 25mm print height, ideal for secondary packaging and e-commerce applications where visibility and branding are key.

Both printers operate through MapleJet’s unified Hx Platform, giving manufacturers precise control, easy setup, and seamless data synchronization across all devices.

Introducing the Complete CTIJ Lineup

The highlight of the show was the launch of the Hx Ultimo Continuous Thermal Inkjet (CTIJ) printer — the latest addition to MapleJet’s next-generation CTIJ series. Built on the same intelligent platform, this lineup includes:

  • Hx Ultro – Launched in 2022, Hx Ultro is a solvent-based CTIJ printer designed for non-porous materials like flexible films and foils, delivering high-speed, durable prints for FMCG and industrial packaging lines.
  • Hx Ultro 25w – Launched in the early 2025, Hx Ultro 25w is a water-based CTIJ variant ideal for porous materials, engineered for e-commerce packaging and high-volume corrugated production.
  • Hx Ultro CodeMax – Launched in 2024, Hx Ultro CodeMax a compact CTIJ printer developed for flexible packaging lines, featuring a specialized mounting bracket for easy integration where TTO printers are commonly installed.
  • Hx Ultimo – The flagship model, introduced at Pack Expo 2025, represents a breakthrough in Continuous Thermal Inkjet (CTIJ) technology, offering continuous inkjet operation with razor-sharp resolution and low maintenance for demanding production lines.

The Hx Ultimo drew strong attention from visitors for its continuous operation, fine droplet control, and robust solvent-based inks that ensure superior adhesion on metals, plastics, and flexible substrates. This new architecture eliminates the complex maintenance routines of traditional CIJ printers — no pumps, no valves, no mess — while maintaining the stability and endurance that high-speed packaging lines demand.

Centralized Control through the Hx Console

Supporting the entire range of printers is MapleJet’s Hx Console — a unified management interface that allows users to control, monitor, and synchronize all coding printers across the production floor. Through this intuitive software, operators can create and edit messages, check ink levels, monitor print quality, and schedule production — all from one dashboard.

Whether managing a single printer or an entire network of devices, the Hx Console enables real-time visibility, error reduction, and Industry 4.0 integration, empowering factories to optimize efficiency while maintaining complete traceability.

A Successful Collaboration with Brady

MapleJet extends its sincere appreciation to Brady. Their collaboration provided an excellent platform to demonstrate how MapleJet’s CTIJ and TIJ technologies integrate seamlessly with packaging lines, offering manufacturers a complete solution from primary to secondary coding.

As we continue to expand our innovation roadmap, MapleJet remains committed to advancing sustainable, intelligent, and connected coding solutions that help manufacturers achieve higher productivity, lower costs, and full digital integration.
