Maplejet has successfully installed ProDigit printers to print three colours of solvent-based ink in a pipe manufacturing company in Colombia. With a combination of two controllers, one bi-color print module and a single-color print module, the only challenge that was encountered during the installation was to align the print properly. Right after the release of bulk-ink system for ProDigit carton printer, which primarily uses oil-based ink, Maplejet released a bulk ink system to be used for a\u00a0variety of solvent-based inks that can print unto non-porous applications. The bulk ink system will help decrease operator intervention and help high-volume continuous production lines to\u00a0minimise\u00a0downtime. At the moment, the bulk-ink system can only be integrated on the new ProDigit printer configuration with the square-type stainless steel stand. The\u00a0 high-resolution printing bi-color carton printer has now a low-cost version to\u00a0meet the minimum requirements of SME Food Manufacturers. The modular controller used in the printer can accommodate two print heads, which means that with addition of a small amount of money for an extra print head, you can get your third colour and additional 18mm height that can be printed on top or bottom of the box.
